La Palmyre Zoo :
Located just 10 km north-west of Royan, this fourteen-hectare zoo is home to animals from all over the world. More than 1,500 animals from all five continents including lions, tigers, wolves, sea lions, polar bears, hippopotami, zebras, rhinoceros, elephants, apes, ostriches, parrots, ibis, and even crocodiles. Parrot and sea lion shows from Easter to early November.
 
Serpent Island ( L'Ile aux Serpents ):
A reptile house providing a natural environment for snakes, serpents, varans, iguanas and crocodiles, with their prey and their predators.
 
Valley of the Monkeys ( La Vallée des Singes ) :
In an 10 hectare park, gorillas, many varieties of marmosets, macaques, gibbons and capuchin monkeys live in semi-freedom. Don't miss the haunting sounds of mandrills, white-nosed monkeys and colobi.
 
Haute - Saintonge Safari Park ( Le safari parc de Haute-Saintonge ) :

Courvoisier ( Courvoisier ) :
The Courvoisier company in Jarnac, on the banks of the River Charente, takes visitors on an outstanding tour: history of the Napoleonic era illustrated with memorabilia, objects and equipment used in the production of cognac and an audio-visual presentation.
 
Rémy-Martin ( Rémy-Martin ) :
Guided tour on board a train around the 30-hectare Rémy-Martin estate, which has the largest cooperage in Europe, a Grande Champagne vineyard, and the cellars in which the brandy is aged and blended.
