The delightful town of Beauvais
is just 2 kilometres away. Built around a network of
traditional narrow streets, Beauvais boasts a town
square,
which holds a twice-weekly market, a restaurant,
a range of shops including a small supermarket, a
pharmacy,
bank and
a Post Office and of course a boulengerie.
The region offers many opportunities
for daily excursions. The most noteworthy local attraction
is Cognac, where a visit to one of
the famous brandy houses is both educating and rewarding!
and our local chais is well worth a visit.
